■ If you can check the readings of the soft counters and the readings in service mode,
Press the Counter Check key on the control panel, and take notes of the readings of the soft counters.
In addition, obtain the readings in service mode, send record them on the service label. (Remove the service sheet case behind the right front cover. Write the readings corresponding to the items indicated on the label).
■ If you cannot check the readings of the soft counters and the readings in service mode,

4) Assemble the parts.
5) Turn on the main power switch so that ?E355? is indicated once again.

7) Turn off and then on the main power switch, check that the readings of the soft counters have change to ?0? on the control panel.
Using COPIER>ADJUST and OPTION in service mode enter the values you recorded on the service label in step 1). (Be sure to press the OK key after entering a value.)
If you could not make a check in service mode in step 1), enter the values already recorded on the service label.
Caution:
If you selected optional soft counters on the control panel for display, be sure to select them newly using service mode (OPTION>USER>COUNTER 2 to 6).
Inform the user that the readings of the soft counters have changed to ?0? to end the work.
